El presidente de la Organización de Estudiantes de Pueblos Indígenas de la Amazonía Peruana/OEPIAP, Rusber Martín Pizango Tangoa, denunció que no se está tomando en cuenta las propuestas de los jóvenes indígenas universitarios en el diálogo que vienen sosteniendo las comunidades nativas y la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM).
Pizango Tangoa detalla que los estudiantes participaron en el diagnóstico de problemas de las comunidades, proponiendo la creación de un Complejo Habitacional para albergar a los jóvenes provenientes de distintos pueblos indígenas en la ciudad de Iquitos y puedan cursar sus estudios superiores, pero, dicha propuesta al final no fue incluida en los pedidos hechos llegar a la PCM.
Asimismo, el presidente del OEPIAP señala que ni siquiera estaban considerados en la reunión, puesto que desde un principio se les impidió el ingreso a las instalaciones del Gobierno Regional de Loreto, donde se venía desarrollando la misma, teniendo que realizar una protesta hasta que les permitieron el ingreso, aun así, y pese a hacer uso de la palabra, tampoco se les habría tomado en cuenta.
Rusber Martín lamentó esta situación que lo único que hace es perjudicar a los estudiantes indígenas universitarios que luchan para poder hacerse de una carrera profesional. (R. Graicht)
